GONZALES — A Gonzales woman died in a one-car crash Sunday afternoon after her car ran off a road and hit a tree. Denise Marchand, 32, was driving a 2000 Pontiac on La. 42, east of La. 44, in Ascension Parish about 2:17 p.m., a Louisiana State Police news release says.
