I had this car for 7 seven years now and it's been very reliable. Recently though, the transmission was not working properly. The car cannot accelerate when the gear is in drive.

TOKYO April 16, 2007; The AP reported that Nissan Motor Co. said today that it may have to push back a key sales target it aimed to hit next fiscal year, a blow to Carlos Ghosn, the chief executive who has led Nissan's turnaround.

Nissan Motor Company , NEC Corporation and NEC TOKIN Corporation are to establish a joint-venture company – Automotive Energy Supply Corporation – to focus on lithium-ion battery business for the automotive market.

TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - Nissan Motor Co now expects to hit its target of worldwide sales of 4.2 mln vehicles in the fiscal year ending March 2010, having originally aimed to hit this target a year earlier, because of sluggish sales in the fiscal year ended March 31, the company said.

A spokeswoman for the car maker said it would give an update on its medium-term business plan on April 26, when it announced its results for the last fiscal year.
