Youth was the name of the game for the area's girls cross country teams in 2007. Of the seven runners named to the Home News Tribune's All-Area first team, six were underclassmen, including three sophomores. On the second team, two seniors and five sophomores were named.

Yancy Munoz has been coaching the girls cross country program at Bishop Ahr High School for close to 20 years and nothing has changed over that time. Regardless of the personnel, her teams are always prepared, always competitive and always successful.
