June 20 (Bloomberg) -- Canada's provincial finance ministers plan to urge Bank of Canada Governor David Dodge not to raise interest rates because a strong dollar is hurting manufacturers, Ontario Finance Minister Greg Sorbara said.

Ontario said Wednesday the high Canadian dollar has been a big killer of manufacturing jobs and it wants the Bank of Canada to think twice before raising interest rates.
